Hi everyone! We're eager to showcase our design concept for an auction website where art enthusiasts can purchase paintings and other works of art.
The website introduces the upcoming auctions, followed by a catalog page where users can browse through the items. Users can select individual auctions to view more detailed listings and bid on items, with a dedicated page for each lot to spotlight the artwork.
We crafted the site with a monochromatic color scheme, accented with distinctive orange highlights. The black-and-white palette adds contrast without distracting from the art pieces, while the selective use of orange draws attention without overwhelming the site.
The primary characteristic of this design is its clear focus on the lots themselves, allowing the art pieces to stand out prominently within the visual hierarchy of the site.
